DJ Bo Monde: International DJ from Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Nicknames: 'Feel Good DJ', 'Genre Bender', 'Queen of Clubs'

Bo started as a little kid playing daily with radio, cassettes and records.
Being a professional DJ was a childhood dream. In her teenage years she took a chance, becoming a volunteer DJ in the local LGBT community center (COC Amsterdam) in the mid 90's, playing mostly with vinyl and later on with CD's.
She became a DJ teacher and DJ recruiter for the COC. Expanding with DJ workshops for after school activities for young adolescents in youth centers, also giving private lessons and coachings. She attended the Music Production Academy in Rotterdam in 2006; but mostly she educated herself through hundreds of DJ hours and bookings.
Currently she is working with Pioneer Rekordbox, Serato and Traktor.

DJ Bo Monde's music collection is eclectic and varies from classical lounge to world music, deep and tech house. Rhythmic club and popular vocal house as well as dance classics are most requested for bookings. Mixing music and connecting with the audience is her trade mark.

DJ Bo Monde has worked with international live acts, musically directed fashion shows, DJ sets with live instruments (saxophone, drums/percussion, violin, didgeridoo), MC's and well known (drag) performers of all kinds.

She releases a new social event for Trans & Friends called 'Kiss of the Spiderwoman' in Amsterdam on 18.5.2017.
